Grades 1-8 Classes

Drama

Students are encouraged to grow as an actor and as an individual in this supportive yet challenging class.  Topics covered through the course include:

  • Monologues
  • Scene Study
  • Acting Technique
  • Improvisation
  • Group Voice
  • Theater History
  • Script and Character Analysis
  • Audition Technique/Auditions
  • Show Rehearsal and Production

Tuition includes between 50-60 Training Sessions (classes and rehearsals), as well as production fees for ALL shows in which the student is eligible to participate in (scripts and music, costumes, royalties, etc).

Jazz

This fun and high energy class encourages students to be comfortable with their bodies and movement while teaching the foundations of jazz and other related forms of dance.  Confidence in performing is also emphasized.

Tap

Let loose and make some noise!  This class concentrates on the popular form of dance and its different styles and applications while promoting stamina and rhythm.  Presentation and stage presence is also a focus.

Ballet

Regarded by many as the gateway to all forms of dance, beginner ballet classes introduce the dancer to the foundations of ballet, basic classical barre and center work to improve posture and encourage grace, stamina, and flexibility.

Advanced Ballet, Grades 6-8

A two day a week program, this course continues to develop the ballet skills of dancers who are serious about advancing in ballet.  Prior experience is a pre-requisite for this class.

Pointe, Grades 6-8

For the serious ballet student, this course is by instructor recommendation only.
